With over 20 years of mental health nursing experience, in Australia and the United Kingdom, with specific expertise in the support of individuals at risk of suicide, including the assessment and support of those recently bereaved by suicide.
Good counselling and listening skills, particularly those who present in crisis. Competent in the assessment of wide-ranging mental health problems and the provision of supportive suggestions.
Confidence in the assessment of the suicidal individual, at risk of suicide, using a strong evidence base and guided by research.
Our Duty of Care is to the clients and communities we support, ensuring that we do no harm to those who are already going through difficulties.

Qualifications Credentialed Mental Health Nurse and is a member of the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN).
Registered General Nurse Div 1 Masters of Nursing Research ( University of Notre Dame)
Graduate Certificate of Suicide Prevention Studies (Griffith University)
Systematic Tailored Assessment for Responding to Suicidality protocol (STARS-p) Accredited training
Qualified Clinical Mental Health Nurse, with advanced skills and expertise in the assessment and treatment of mental health problems, with a special interest in the support of individuals at risk of suicide.
